Color-Changing Gin & Tonic
Makes 2, 6 ounce drinks with 25mg per serving
2 teaspoons dried Butterfly Pea Flowers
4 ounces your favorite gin
8 ounces Tonic Water
5 teaspoons Azuca Simple Syrup
Pour butterfly pea flowers into your gin and let infuse overnight. You will end up with a beautifully dark blue gin.
Pour blue gin into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Add Azuca syrup (if you add simple syrup, gin will stay blue. Lemon or lime syrups will turn the gin purple!) and shake vigorously.
Evenly pour gin into two glasses filled with ice. Add tonic water and watch your drink turn bright purple (if you are using Azuca Simple Syrup)
