Candied Sweet Potatoes
Makes 4 servings, 25 mg Azuca CBD each
Ingredients
4 sweet potatoes, quartered
10 Tbsp butter
9 Tbsp dark brown sugar
2½ tsp Azuca CBD Sugar
2½ cups marshmallows
1½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
Pinch of ground cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Process
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Add sweet potatoes and boil until slightly underdone (about 15 minutes). Drain, cool, peel, and chop into bite-size chunks.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, brown sugar, Azuca CBD sugar, 1½ cups of the marshmallows, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until marshmallows are melted.
- Mash half of the cubed sweet potatoes into the marshmallow sauce and stir. Add in the whole sweet potato chunks. Season with salt and pepper.
