What exactly is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid, a compound found naturally in hemp plants. This compound occurs in all plant life but is found in higher concentrations in the plants grown specifically for these and other compounds. Azuca CBD is derived directly from the hemp plant grown industrially for its extracts – our product is a Full Spectrum Hemp Extract containing naturally-occurring CBD. While there are over 80 different types of phytocannabinoids, CBD does not produce a “high”, like some of its sister compounds.

What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are a group of fatty compounds found in hemp but also produced by other plants and the human body. These compounds are key players in normal immune and central nervous system functioning. There are more than 80 identified cannabinoids. A system within the human body called the endocannabinoid system (ECS) has receptors that these compounds fit into, using cannabinoids to support cells and healthy immune system function. Hemp produces more than 80 different phytocannabinoids naturally. Of the 80+ non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most widely known. Others include Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabinol (CBN) & more.

Do Azuca products and ingredients contain any THC?
All Azuca products do not exceed 0.3% THC. You can view the test results from any Azuca product by scanning the QR code on every package and label.

What is the difference between CBD from hemp and CBD from cannabis?
Hemp-derived CBD is sourced from industrial hemp plants, which are grown primarily for their oils, fiber and seeds. Hemp plants tend to differ from cannabis plants in appearance; they are often tall and skinny, scarce in foliage. The U.S. Government now indicates that hemp is differentiated from cannabis by its levels of THC, the cannabinoid that possesses intoxicating properties. Under U.S. law, a hemp plant and its extracts must contain no more than 0.3% THC.

Does one get “high” from CBD?
No.  Our products contain less than 0.3% so there is no psychoactive effect.

All Azuca products are rigorously tested three times – through the production process. #1: All hemp extracts are tested for potency and impurities before we accept them for production. #2: Azuca’s TiME INFUSION™ method converts hemp extracts to a water friendly, stable, and fast-acting ingredient which is tested again for potency, heavy metals, and pesticides before we use it in any finished Azuca product. #3: Final batches of all Azuca products are all tested one last time to ensure they are ready for you to consume and enjoy.

What are the ingredients in Azuca edible products?

All Azuca products feature Azuca’s proprietary blend of modified starches and gums and full spectrum hemp extract. Additionally, Azuca sugar sticks & bulk sugars contain turbinado sugar; Azuca simple syrups contain water and cane sugar; Azuca chocolate coins contain Valrhona 61% Extra Bitter dark chocolate.

What is the shelf life of Azuca products?

All Azuca products have a best by date on the package. Our infused sugar products and chocolate coins have a recommended 2 year best-by-date. Simple syrups have a recommended 1 year best-by-date.

Are Azuca CBD products sensitive to light and temperature like other CBD products?

For freshness, we recommend that Azuca products be kept cool and dry. Unlike many other CBD products that are degraded by UV light and heat though, Azuca products are perfectly stable – that’s why you can use Azuca in any culinary application.

Are Azuca products gluten free? Nut free? Vegan?

All Azuca products are gluten free, nut free, and vegan. However, they are made in a facility that processes gluten, nuts and animal products.

How much CBD is in each serving and package?

Azuca products all deliver 25mg of fast acting hemp CBD per serving, but it’s easy to measure more or less to keep you in control of the precise experience you seek.

Where does Azuca ship its hemp-derived CBD products?

Due to regulations for hemp CBD products, Azuca does not currently ship our hemp CBD products to DE, ID, IA, MD, MS, NH, and SD.

First, use the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, contact us via email. Include your order number, full name, and shipping address. A representative will further investigate and get back to you within 24 hours with an update.

Is there sales tax on my order?

At this time, there is no sales tax on orders placed with Azuca.  This can change at a later date and we apologize for that inconvenience.

How much Azuca CBD should I take?

Azuca products are designed to deliver up to 25mg of hemp-derived CBD per serving which is our “average” starting amount. It’s important to keep in mind that everyone’s body is different and that means that they metabolize hemp-derived CBD differently. Most people notice their desired result from one serving; others require less (half a chocolate coin or sugar stick), and some require more. Our precise CBD infusions keep you in control of your consumption.
